Eunice Chatham Anderson, 95, died Saturday, January 24, 2009 in Savannah, GA.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Avalon, MS on January 8, 1914, the daughter of the late Arthur and Kate Rush Chatham. She resided in Drew for many years until moving to Jackson, MS, where she and her husband resided until his retirement after which returning to Avalon, MS. Eunice was of the Methodist faith and was a faithful member of the Methodist churches of Drew, Greenwood and Jackson, MS.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, General Sherman Boyer Anderson. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Dickerson and husband Wayne of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Stacey Lodato and husband Mike of Freeport, ME and Wayne Dickerson, Jr. and wife Kerry of Tokyo, Japan; great grandchildren, Joey Lodato, Bailey Dickerson and Trey Dickerson.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, 350 High St., Jackson, MS 39201.

Burial: 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Drew Cemetery in Drew, MS.
