Amelia "Millie" Collins Muskovin, 90, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly from Greensboro, NC, died on February 3, 2009 in Hamilton, OH.
Millie was born in Savannah, Georgia on January 1, 1919 to John Carroll Collins and Elizabeth Ott Collins. On December 22, 1945, she married Alfred J Muskovin. She was a sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Millie dedicated her life to her family, church and volunteer activities. She was an avid quilter and baker. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, son, Marc L Muskovin; great-grandson Aaron Buchheit, one brother, and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughters Marie L Muskovin of Lexington, NC and Emelie Kay Cliff North of Hamilton, OH; her sons, Jon A Dorothy Muskovin of Machesney Park, IL and A Joel Beverly Muskovin of Cincinnati, OH; Daughter-in-law, Debra Muskovin of Lexington, NC; grandchildren Sherrie Chandler, Barbara Buchheit, Melanie Robert Gulla, Joy Patrick Bauman, Christopher Amy Muskovin, Shawn Muskovin, Danielle Muskovin and her fiancé Geoffrey Nevara, Sara McDaniel and her fiancé Steve Haussler; great grandchildren, Joshua Muskovin, Cole Muskovin, Brooke Muskovin, NJ Haussler, Samantha Nevara, Jessica Owens, Jeffrey Hoskins, Bobbie Chandler, Bridget Chandler, Andrew Buchheit and Blake Buchheit; sister Ruth Collins and brother, David Jane Collins, brother-in-law, Joseph Sauers Sr.; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, February 11 at 11 am at St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Savannah, GA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10 from 5 to 7 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Burial will be at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregational United Church of Christ, 400 W Radiance Dr., Greensboro, North Carolina 27403.
