Rudolph Harlin

Jacksonville, Florida – Rudolph Harlin, 83, died February 5, 2009 at St. Vincent's Hospital. He was born in Roanoke, Alabama, son of the late James A. and Mary Robertson Harlin. Mr. Harlin was a graduate of Auburn University receiving a Bachelors Degree in civil engineering. He was a decorated United States Army veteran serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Corps of Engineers after forty years of service and was a member of Cresthill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Strain Harlin of Jacksonville, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy W. and Lynn Harlin of Jacksonville, FL; siblings, Elmer, Jack and Raymond Harlin, Christine Laney and Helen Cline all of Roanoke, AL; grandsons, Christopher and Jonathan Harlin and great grandson, Christian Harlin.
Visitation: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2009 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
