JoAnne Marie Jenney, 76, died February 22nd at the Spanish Oaks Retreat in Savannah, Georgia.

JoAnne was born on March 1, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to her late parents, Joseph and Ann Steiner.

JoAnne was predeceased by her late husband, Edward Gorham. She is survived by her loving husband, Miles Jenney; her brother, Don Steiner; her sister-in-law, Margaret Gorham of Fripp Island, SC and cousin, Carolyn De Palma of Somers, New York. JoAnne is also survived by her four children, Edward Gorham and wife Angelika of Fabius, New York, Robert Gorham and wife Juliette of Mahuah, New Jersey, Maryann Titone and husband Charles of Denville, New Jersey and John Gorham and Dawn of Birmingham, Alabama. Also surviving JoAnne is her step-son, Edward Jenney and wife Lyn of South Easton, Massachusetts and by her step-daughter, Lisa Durkin and husband Leonard of Jacksonville, Florida. JoAnne has fourteen grandchildren whom she dearly loved including, Kattie McKinspry and husband Chris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Annaliese Gorham, Olivia Gorham and Maggie Gorham, all of Fabius, New York, Emily and Victoria Gorham of Mahuah, New Jersey, Courtney and Tyler Titone of Denville, New Jersey, John Patrick and Alexis Gorham of Birmingham, Alabama, Megan and Clare Jenney and Lindsay and Kyle Durkin.

JoAnne had a beautiful and meaningful life. She made many new friends in New Jersey as well as at The Landings in Savannah, Georgia where she and her husband Mick moved to in 1994. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. JoAnne was an excellent artist, loved to play golf and bridge and was fond of travel, entertaining as well as being an excellent creator of meals and a faithful Catholic. JoAnne Jenney will be greatly missed by one and all who knew her.

Funeral services are scheduled for March 7th at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah, Georgia.

Donations in lieu of flowers in remembrance of JoAnne Jenney can be made to Spanish Oaks Foundation at 8510 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31406 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633.
