Mary Conheeney Burke

Skidaway Island - Mary Patricia Conheeney Burke passed away on March 5, 2009. She is the beloved wife of Brian Burke, the loving mother of Kristen Burke Morison of CT and Lindsay Burke Rackley of TX, and the devoted grandmother of Jack, Ellie, and Brady Morison and Lily Rackley. She will be laid to rest in Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City after a Memorial Mass at St. Mary's Church in Bayonne on March 10th at 10:30 a.m.

GUEST BOOK

Brian, Lindsey & Kristen, I just learned of Mary's passing from a former client and friend Martha Puerta. I'm soooo sorry. The world has lost a GREAT soul, she was the best employer I ever had. Always having such confidence in me. I know you all have loving, fun memories of her. I'll always keep her in my thoughts & prayers, Alesia Williams

Mary, other than Diane was my first best friend as an adult. She amazed me. She was/is so beautiful. She would come down for breakfast and be fully dressed and have her makeup on. We were so different. She started her own business after working for a firm in Westport, CT. She worked hard day and night and started her own business. She did well and put Kristin and Lindsay through college or what ever endevors the girls wanted. As a friend for 37 years I can say I loved her every day. I miss her laughter, wit and friendship. There are those of us she left behind, we love her and miss her. For those that have taken care of Mary, you are blessedfor your care. I just wish I had known and been able to help. I love all of you for the care you gave to Mary. I miss her. Dee Arnold Dee

Mary was the first friend I met in Connecticut. Both our daughters were babies at the time named Kristenin. Our 2nd children were born 4 days apart. Through her I met my other 3 closest friends. We were the 'Ya Ya's'. we shared many laughs, tears and memory's. I love and miss you Mary Pat and wish I could have been there with you over the last few months. I know you are now in peace and Diane was there to welcome you home.
