Rachael Gillis Laird
SAVANNAH – Rachael Gillis Laird died on March 17, 2009 at Hospice House surrounded by her family. Rachael was born in Andalusia, Alabama on April 28, 1916.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Lt. Col. Ret Norman S. Laird, Sarah L. Jones, and Martha L. Sullivan Martin; her grandchildren, Wanchai Laird, Randy Loyd, Chalor Laird, Robert L. Jones Jody, Sarah S. Austin Bryan, and Martin R. Sullivan, Jr. She had six great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jacob Loyd and Sam, Eva, Mali, and Will Jones.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2009, at St. John's Church.
