Just found your Mom's obituary on line. Sorry this is so late. I have so many memories of your Mom through and with my Aunt, Vilda Shuman. I have tons of photos from GSCW days I would love to share with you if you will send me a mailing address for this otherwise they will go to the historical society at GA State College and University, formerly GSCW. I know you will miss your Mom's great presence in your lives and the joy she brought to so many. Our family still cherishes the memories of a trip to Tybee to visit with her the day after the floors of the house had been sanded and sealed--also the fishing adventure she took us on. What a grand Southern lady she was and she will be remembered by all for her long life. You were blessed to have her for all these years. May your memories of her live on in your hearts and lives.

To All of Mary O'Malley's Family, The first time I met Mary she was peeling peaches on her porch next door. She was so sweet and I got a kick out of her boating skills and love of the water. I thought I hope to have her energy when I get older. We were sorry to see her leave Savannah but delighted on her visits back to Tybee and enjoyed her time here during huricane katrina. She was a joy to be around. My 6 year old was sad that she didn't get to say goodbye. We were looking forward to her trip here in June. She always took the time to send us notes and Christmas cards. She was a wonderful lady to know and she will be missed by many. Love, Kerri Spirides and the Spirides Family

Angela, Peter & Tim, I met your mother in 1975 when we worked together at May Howard Elem. School. Such a delightful, energetic person! My sister & I searched for news of her after Katrina, and found her right here at Tybee! I last saw her the day she was leaving to return to New Orleans. Though I never met you, I felt I knew each of you through her loving stories. She was always the proud mother & grandmother. I'll cherish the memory of her friendship.

Dear O'Malley Family, Although many years have passed since I first met Mary, I remember her fondly from AAUW. She provided such leadership and was most welcoming to new members. She has come to mind many times over the years, and I am thankful that she lived as a beacon of light for so many energetic years! Many blessings to your family.
