Norman W. Warwick, 85 died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Savannah Square. He was born July 21, 1923 in Lincoln, Nebraska and was a longtime resident of Savannah. He attended the University of Nebraska and was later called to service as a member of the Air Force where he served as corporal for three years. After his service in the U.S. Air Force he returned to the University of Nebraska and graduated in 1949. He was retired from K Mart Corporation as an Executive after 39 years of service where he finished his career in Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. Warwick and Bessie P. Warwick, and three sisters, Virginia B. Warwick, of Huntington Beach, CA, Eleanor Webb, of Syracuse, N.Y., and Marjorie Wochner, of York, NE.
His is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ellen and Jim Helstead, of York, Nebraska, and six nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held in York, Nebraska at a later date.
