In addition to those blessings she has eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was a life long member of Calvary Baptist Church, a past matron of Eastern Star Laurel Chapter Number 51, worked as secretary for Savannah Baptist Association for 30 years, an active member of the WMU and an avid mission-minded Christian.

Jackie, So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Shelby Knight

Miss Jewelle & Mr Jack are in many of my early memories when my family and I came to town in the late 50s. Miss Jewelle's smiling eyes radiated love every time I saw her. She knew how to make me feel I was the most special person in the whole world. She and Mr Jack were always a hoot to be around. I don't recall much of what was said, but I do remember we laughed and loved a lot. They were both special to my folks---John and Dot. I know that this hurting time for you & us has been a glad reunion for them all! You are in my prayers. Danny Beam

Mrs. Graham was a very special lady. I still remember how nice she was to me when I would come sit in her office when it was down at SBC. All those African Violets! Amazing. It meant so much to me that she came to my mom's funeral last fall. She definitely believed in JOY - Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last! Mary Beam Alexander
