It is with great sadness that Meredith Alaine Herrin has left this earth on April 22, 2009 shortly after her ninth birthday. She has started a new journey without illness. Meredith loves life and is now in a place where she will always be comforted and forever in our hearts. She is sadly missed by her mom, Lindi Herrin, brothers, Dustyn and Brannen, father, Brett Herrin, maternal grandparents, Doug and Trudy Gurtzweiler, great grandparents, Nancy Nisely and Lowell Nisely who will comfort her in heaven, aunt Whitney Gurtzweiler, aunt Mandi and uncle Mike Huff, cousins Maddison and Brant Huff and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed by paternal grandmother, Diane M. Herrin, uncle Mark and aunt Kari Herrin, aunt Julie Herrin and cousins Athon, Asher, Mason, Blake, Joseph, Grace and many great aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Meredith's life will take place at the Mansion at Forsyth Park in Downtown Savannah on Monday April 27th from 5-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, a foundation is being organized in Meredith's name for Chatham Academy and to further research for HLH Blood disorders. Donations may be sent to The Meredith Alaine Herrin Foundation, 303 Warnell Drive, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
