Savannah - Elizabeth "Beth" Browne, 72, died May 5, 2009 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. The lifelong resident of Savannah received a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and was retired as a lab technician from Howard Lab with over thirty years of service. She was a devoted member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she spent many days of the week volunteering. Beth was an avid animal lover.

Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, George E. and Terry Browne of Savannah; a niece, nephew, great niece, several cousins and her beloved dog.

Graveside service: 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2009 in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery with The Very Reverend William Willoughby, III, officiating.
