Marjorie V. Michalak

SAVANNAH – Marjorie V. Michalak, 88, passed away on the evening of Thursday, May 21, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Carroll T. Michalak, and two eldest sons, Carl R. Michalak and Ron L. Michalak.
She was born on February 20, 1921 in Lafayette, IN. After marrying in 1945, she and her husband raised their seven children in Carpentersville, IL. She spent the last eight years of her life at Savannah Square in Savannah, cared for by her daughter, Margie Bach.
Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will always be remembered for her bright blue eyes, quirky smile, and wry sense of humor.
She is survived by her five remaining children, Terry Michalak of Charleston, SC, Timothy Michalak of Houston, TX, Carolyn Lorenzer of Sterling, CO, Margie Bach of Savannah, GA, and Melody Arnett of Tucson, AZ. She has nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Marjorie will be buried in Dundee, IL beside her husband. No local services are planned.
