Celebrating the life of

Christopher Kress Frame, Jr.

April 01, 1970 - May 29, 2009

Christopher Kress Frame, Jr.

Christopher Kress Frame, Jr.

LOS ANGELES - The family and friends of Christopher Kress Frame, Jr. lost Chris on Friday, May 29, 2009 when he passed away in Venice, California, his home of eleven years.

Born in Savannah, Georgia at St. Joseph's Hospital on April 1, 1970 Chris attended schools in Georgia, New Mexico and North Carolina and capped off his advanced education with a degree in audio engineering from the Los Angeles Recording Workshop where he was subsequently an instructor. He volunteered for several years at a special home for children with multiple handicaps and AIDS and was also a proud member of Tau Kappa Epsilon, ASCAP, the Sons of the Republic of Texas, and the Sons of the Revolution in the State of Georgia.

As a child he developed an early prowess for music which began with the piano and then quickly expanded to the acoustic and electric guitar, bass, voice and drums. His all-encompassing passion for music continued to expand into songwriting, composing, engineering, producing, and performing with various recording artists and bands from Athens to Atlanta to LA.

Chris was a gifted songwriter, musician and composer who demonstrated his zest for life through his creative imagination, ultimately forming the country rock Chris Frame Band. He founded Isolate Productions and collaborated with well-known entertainment personalities and studios in Atlanta and Hollywood including Capitol Records. He was a certified California contractor and established Framework Automated Solutions, LLC which designed audio-visual-security systems and theaters for prestigious clients. He was also a Master Programmer in multiple engineering systems.

An avid outdoorsman, Chris grew up in Savannah fishing, sailing, and skiing in the Wilmington River as well as hiking in the Smoky Mountains. He took great joy and inspiration from nature- surfing, camping, skiing and gardening-which became a recurring theme in the exuberant conduct of his life and in his music.

Chris is survived by his loving fiancee, Jennifer Bieber, who has been such a source of inspiration for him, parents Christopher K. and Rosemary G. Frame, sister Alexa Frame of Atlanta, uncles Peter C. Frame of Tazewell, Va. and Alexander M. Frame , New York City, and cousins.

"The peace of God...surpasses all understanding." Phil 4.7

A seaside celebration of his life was held by his many friends at Manhattan Beach, California, Wednesday, June 3. A sanctifying graveside service will occur at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
In lieu of flowers please contribute in his loving memory to the charity of your choice.
