Dear Jeanie & Family, I talked to your Mother a couple of times while working on the Housman Family Genealogy. She was very proud of all of you and made it a point to tell me that if she was not here, to make sure you received a copy of the genealogy. I always enjoyed talking to her. Our deepest thoughts are with you during this time. Herbert & Carol Key, Greenville, Ms

I, too, never met Barbara personally, but I spoke with her and the children after her sister's death. Jean Tucker was a special friend through all her activities at First Baptist Church in Greenville and in Alice Bell Garden Club, and I miss her. I am so sorry to learn of Barbara's passing, and express my sincere sympathy to all members of her family. I know she and Jean are now laughing and talking mostly Jean, I suspect! as we mourn.
