Savannah- Mr. William M. Bethany, 93, passed away, Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Hospice House.

Mr. Bethany was a native of Opelousas, Louisiana. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a watch repairman in Savannah. He was a fine Christian man and loved our Lord.

For over 45 years, he was a dear friend of the Wood family, Bill and Mary of Savannah.
Most people can only wish to have such a dear friend as Bill. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.

Friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
