Savannah- John Michael Lane, 52, died Friday, September 18, 2009.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with Reverend Marshall Ray officiating.

Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

John Lane will be missed at crescent towing he was a great guy to have on your boat or have the chance to work with he always kept things interesting and the week go by so fast.We will miss Johnny Love and his saying 'What's up Boss'

I have known John for more than 30yrs but until recently never really knew him until he came to work with us at Crescent Towing. He was always quick with a joke and i always enjoyed being being on the tugs with him during the long nights that we worked together.
