Savannah - Frederic G. Broelinckx, 73, died September 8, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Belgium and lived in Savannah since 1999. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2009 in Laurel Grove Cemetery with Pastor William H. I'm not sure this was my friend; the surname and 1st name are correct, the year he was born is also correct. I last saw him last around 1965 after he was married and very quickly divorced. It is very much 'by chance' that I stumbled on this site; how sad it is that people do not remain in contact with one another so we never know how they continue their life. It appears the Internet may bring some change to that. If any of Freddy's family read this, please send me an email, I have a photograph taken in 1960 on the morning of our return from a holiday we took together in Spain and the South of France that I would like to share. Please accept my belated condolences.
