GUEST BOOK

I am so sorry to hear in the passing of Lorene. They were a big blessing to me and other service men in the military. I was stationed in a radio station in Wahawah Hi.I met them at church. The took several of us in at their little house and gave us a home like environment. We had some great times. Them being Army they even opened the home to the Navy. I would spend my weekends there and we all went to church and really liked it. They were a loving Christian couple. After I got out I went to visit them once in Ellenwood and really enjoyed seeing them. I have tried to find them several times but to no avail. I see they moved and that is the reason. I would really like to talk to Melvin if you pass this on to him. God bless both of them. They were really Godly people. The gave me a Bible and I still carry it with me. She would cook dinner for all of us and we just had a great time. It was our home away from home. My ph. no is 936-321-4990

My heart feels empty right now as I recall some of the conversations I was blessed to have had with Lorene. May God give you all peace concerning this loss and joy in knowing we will meet Lorene again. 'Soon and very soon...'

Mr. Melvin and all the family, Mrs. Lorene was such an inspiration to so many with her faithfulness, fervor and love. I remember her delicious friendship cakes, and her hanging upside down from a tree limb. My heartfelt love and prayers that God will comfort your hearts with His Spirit, His Word, and the many memories you have of such a wonderful lady. God bless you all, Margie Doolittle
