Dear Patti, Our last meeting at our SVA reunion this summer was such a happy time, and even then you spoke of your father with such devotion. I am sorry for your loss but know that you will forever be blessed by the many happy memories you shared.

Jean, Our hearts go out to you and your family. But know that Charlie won't be forgotten, rather remembered as a very kind man with a heart of gold and an unforgettable smile.

Mrs. Rousseau, My memories of you and Mr. Rousseau date back to the late 60's when I was setting pins at the German Country Club. Mr. Rousseau was always very kind as you were to me during my middle/late teenage years. He always went out of his way to speak and joke with me and I will not forget how he seemed bigger than life with a smile that matched. I am sorry for you and your family.
- Chuck McAuliffe, Savannah, GA
Dear Elaine, My heart goes out to you and to your entire family in the loss of your Father. 84 doesn't seem quite long enough to have enjoyed his company - a person who had obviously been so engaged in life - but I know all too well of the ravages of Alzheimer's. May God bless you all and keep you all safe while traveling these rainy roads to attend his goodbye service.
