Julia Marguerite Roberts
December 11, 1917 - November 24, 2009
Savannah- Julia M. Roberts, age 92, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Azalealand Nursing Home where she resided for 9 ½ years. We would like to thank the staff for the wonderful care they gave her.
Julia was a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church since a young age. She retired as Home Economist at Savannah Electric and Power Company in 1983.
She is survived by her nephew, Z. King Roberts of Orange Park, Florida.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 27, 2009 at Bonaventure Cemetery.
For the past two years, my dog, Macy and I enjoyed visiting Julia every Sunday afternoon. Julia's love for dogs and cats was abundant; as she called them her 'four-legged friends'.
