Harriet Cubbedge Phillips

Savannah- Harriet Cubbedge Phillips, 85, died Monday, November 30, 2009 at Tara Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Savannah on March 6, 1924 to John Cubbedge and Ivey Love Cubbedge. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Savannah Association Genealogy Society, Georgia Historical Society and Bonaventure Historical Society. She was a former member of the Savannah Golf Club- Nine Holer's and White Bluff Presbyterian Church. Her husband Robert S. Phillips preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter Lydia P. Cheshire; son, John Robert Phillips, Jr.; sister, Bettie Cubbedge Jenkins; three grandsons; two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Bonaventure Cemetery.
