Savannah- Kay Tullis Jackson, 63, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at Hospice House after a long illness.
The Savannah native was the daughter of the late William O. and Grace Tullis. She was a math teacher for many years, teaching at Robert W. Groves High School, Benedictine Military School and Herschel V. Jenkins High School. She later worked as a bank teller with C&S and Bank of America. Kay was a member of the National Rose Society and a life time member of Bull Street Baptist Church. Her daughter, Tami Renee Jackson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Roy "Jack" Jackson; daughters, Stacy Jackson Rector, Tara Leigh Jackson; grandson, Cade "C.A." Rector; sister, Martha Ann Stewart and brother, William O. Tullis, Jr.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Bull Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
