Catherine Kinney Garvey
January 13, 1925 - December 19, 2009
Catherine Kinney Garvey, 84, made her transition Saturday, December 19, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a native of Denver, Colorado, and lived in Savannah for the past 8 years. She retired from the ministry after more than 20 years as a minister with the Unity Church, serving in many cities and retiring in North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Earl Garvey.
She is survived by her children, Arthur Handy, III, of Tybee Island, Marsha G. Dickey, of Gainesville, GA, Christine Raye Belleau, of Colorado Springs, CO, her step-son, Raymond E. Garvey, III, of Knoxville, TN, her brother, Douglas Kinney, FL, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her extended church family.
