Martha and George, Walter and I were saddened to hear of your son, Bob’s death. I do understand the sadness in your hearts. I have lost a son and a daughter. Many times I have thought that it isn’t supposed to be this way. We are supposed to leave them; they aren’t supposed to leave us. Keep your memories of Bob, and hold each one close to your heart. There will be a time when the shock and grief begin to dim, and the wonderful memories of him will slowly replace some of the hurt, and then turn into precious treasures. Before Walter retired he flew Gulfstream jets. I am sure that he would especially have enjoyed knowing Bob, and they would have had much to share. Our love and sympathy go out to you and Bob’s wife, children and grandchildren. A great heritage is possessed by the children and grandchildren that will be nurtured and expanded during their lifetimes. This heritage will always honor Bob in all the things that they do.
