William Charles Burdick
Savannah- William Charles Burdick, 86, of Savannah, GA, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Hospice of Savannah.
He was born in Downey, CA, and was a veteran, having served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked in the telephone and cable industry until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Cummings Burdick, of Savannah, GA; daughters, Gay Anderson and Lola Burdick Ayers; sister, Ernestine Burdick Trump; grandsons, Billy Anderson, Chris Burdick, and Alan Cartwright; granddaughters, Aukele Anderson, Le Ane Wohlgemuth, Sarah Peaster, Jennifer Russell, Tina McKinley, Sheryl Howe, and Tracy Cartwright, and several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Ernest Burdick; daughter, Lynne Burdick Kraker; sister, June Burdick Lard, and brother, Earl Burdick.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

Trish and I are so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. James Barkley said there may be a service here on Maui. As we understand Billy will be bringing Bill's ashes to Maui and will be taken to the Veterans Cemetery possibly next month. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
