Annette DeLoach Paige
SAVANNAH – Annette DeLoach "Mema" Paige, 76, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009, at her home.
The Glennville native lived most of her life in Savannah. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and the Wilmington Island Lions Club. Best known as Miss Wal-Mart, Mrs. Paige was a greeter with Wal-Mart for over ten years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Paige, Sr.
Surviving, all of Savannah, are her daughter, Alice P. Donnelly and her husband, Jim Donnelly; her son, Jack David Paige, Jr. Christine Paige; grandchildren, Erica Scott, Gregory Jacobs, Jr., Katherine Paige, and Jack "Zeek" Paige, III; her lifelong friend, Violet Joyner; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Bible Baptist Church or the Wilmington Island Lions Club.
