Shelley Brabham Kolb

Savannah- Shelley Brabham Kolb, 83, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Hospice House.

The native of Savannah was a graduate of Commercial High School. In the year of 1953, she boarded the Queen Elizabeth I to travel to London, England to marry Eugene Kolb. During their marriage, they traveled extensively while Eugene served in the U.S. Air Force. In 1968, they returned to Savannah following Eugene's retirement where they have remained. Mrs. Kolb was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Deany Ricks Sunday School Class. Her greatest joy was the love of her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Kolb, of Savannah; two daughters, Sharon Seng, Bill of Savannah, Mrs. Sandra Rogers,Jeff, of Rutledge, GA; son, Robert A. Kolb, of Savannah; sister, Mrs. Joan Brabham Wilson,Joel B.; Ocean Springs, MS; four grandchildren, Joshua Beers,Sue Mande Beers, Elizabeth Rogers, Joseph Rogers, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 1020 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010, at the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.

Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
