Ret. Captain Milton C. Sikes, Jr.

Savannah- Retired Captain Milton C. Sikes, Jr. passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010.

Captain Sikes was the recipient of the Purple Heart. His son, James Edward Sikes, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sara Lou Jimenez Sikes; children, Marie Tim Lyle, Beth Chris Allen, Fred Sunni Sikes & Milton Lynn Sikes, III; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, James "Jimmy" Sikes Jan; sister-in-law, Mae Duval, aunts and numerous cousins.

Visitation: 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.

Burial: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park with full Military Honors.
