Elizabeth G. Minster, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. Elizabeth was born December 7, 1921 in Baxley, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Earl Griffin, Sr. and Ione Bullard Griffin. She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hattrich and brother, Earl Griffin, Jr. She attended Baxley School and worked for a brief time at Camp Steward where she met and married her husband of 67 years, George Minster. She was a communicant of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and taking care of all those around her.
Surviving are her husband, George Minster, brother, Howard Griffin, granddaughter, Margaret Phillips and her husband, Eddie, grandson, John Blase and his wife, Tanya, great grandchildren, Greg, Katherine and Robert Phillips and Chase and Price Blase.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors.
Burial: Private

Uncle George, I am glad we made it down to Georgia this past summer to see you and Aunt Liz. I will always cherish that memory and I am glad my children had a chance to meet you and Aunt Liz.
