My deepest condolences to all the Redmond family. Mr. Redmond was a gentleman of the finest sort. I still remember, as did Mr. Redmond just a few months ago, our day at the Masters Golf Tournament together back in the early 1980's. Take care and God bless. Chuck Rawlinson

I had the great pleasure of working with Chief Redmond in the early 1980's when I was a very young enlisted member of the 165th Airlift Wing. He was a man of character and great integrity and I always looked up to him as a leader. The 165th Airlift Wing has lost a true friend and I will always be grateful for his friendship and his service to our country.

- Jon, Savannah, GA

Grandad Redmond as he was know to our children lived an active, healthy, and happy life well into his 80s. He was still working out at the YMCA, dancing, and driving up until the end of last year. He always sought to love and look after us children and grandchildren. He loved his many relatives as well and sought to care and keep up with all of them through his geneology hobby. He and Marguerite were great examples of life well lived. We will miss them.

Chief Redmond was a force to be reckoned with - tough and demanding, but fair. He was a good friend and co-worker for many years at the 165th. He also was kinda like my financial advisor. One of his stories I will always remember was when his son had allowed one of his snakes to escape into the house at large. He said his son told him not to worry, that it was not poisonous - his comment to me was 'he's just a kid, what does he know'? Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

In memory of my father, Bennett H Elkins, Jr., who passed away in August of 2008 and who knew CMSgt Redmond for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May God be with you and comfort you.

- Susan Elkins, Savannah, GA

The Redmonds were great neighbors. They will be missed.

- Allen Dykes, Savannah, GA

I work at the YMCA in the fitness center and loved seeing Mr.Redmond come in and work out. Both he and Mrs. Redmond would attend our YMCA senior luncheons and we all enjoyed listening to their stories. Both will be missed.

- Beth Pugh, Savannah, GA

Uncle Bobby lived a great life by providing an example of love and leadership we all should emulate. We will miss him.
