GUEST BOOK

Dear Mrs. Hurd, Bubba and family, I have so many memories of Mr. Hurd - he had a nickname for all of the kids in the neighborhood - I was Ruby Begonia!! Not sure why - but that was my name. I remember all the days he tanned just on the other side of the fence from me tanning, I remember all the visit to share his flowers from the tree, talking to daddy in the yard. Mrs Hurd I miss you too and hope to see you soon. Bubba - I know it meant so much for your mama to have you come during this time. I know it was difficult and has been for you, You and your mother will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Becky Williamson Jones

Arnold and I would talk every day when he was at BC working in the cafeteria. We shared many stories, and developed a nice friendship. I am truly sadden by his death. My condolences to the entire Hurd family. Steve

Mr. Hurd made a fantastic and lasting impact on my life. He welcomed me into The Citadel brotherhood immediately upon my acceptance to the school. I will cherish the memories we shared and know I will see his smiling face again someday. Thank you Mr. Hurd for all your time. You are missed already.
