Celebrating the life of
Barbara Huber Weever
March 06, 1924 - February 27, 2010
-Savannah - Barbara Rose Huber Weever peacefully entered eternal life on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Savannah Squares' nursing facility after a brief illness, with her faithful husband by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle Conway Huber and Henry Joseph Huber, and her caring aunt, Cecilia Huber Wickes.
She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of thirty-seven years, John Trafton Weever, Jr., and cousins, Elaine Green Orren, Jane "Cissie" Green, Marion Joseph Green, Jr., and Elaine G. and R. Vincent Martin III and their three children, Robert Vincent Martin IV, Elizabeth Martin Chris Richards, and Mary Jane Gray Martin, in addition to other family members and friends.
Mrs. Weever was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a resident of Savannah, Georgia, for the last four and one-half years. She was a devout Catholic and a daily communicant of her parish, St. James Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31406, at 10:00 a.m.
Entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be made in her memory to St. James Catholic Church, Savannah, Georgia.
