He worked with his brothers at Cloud Leather Company in Atlanta and Professional Water Systems in Danbury, CT before moving to Tybee Island in 2003 to care for his mother. He was a member of Chapel by the Sea Baptist Church and the Christ Seekers Sunday School Class. He loved to tell people about the Lord and invite them to join him on Sundays.
Randy never met a stranger and loved to brighten your day with a joke or funny story. He and his brother-in-law Burke had some great adventures over the years and they were the best of friends. He had a huge heart for people and animals and was always taking in strays. He had a host of friends from all walks of life and will be missed by all who knew him.
There will be a celebration of Randy's life on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel by the Sea Baptist Church on Tybee Island with Rev. Dr. David Laughner officiating.
Remembrances may be made to Chapel by the Sea-Building Fund, P.O. Box 235, Tybee Island, GA 31328.

I had the most wonderful relationship with Randy. He was so unique. I met him when he first moved to Atlanta. He had two of the FATTEST cats i had ever met. He LOVED those cats......especially Odie. I spent a lot of time with Randy through those years. There were a bunch of ups and downs...but Randy was always smiling. I was fortunate enough to go down to Tybee and see Randy when he moved. He always wanted to live on the beach...he finally got his wish. I know he was very happy to be so close to his family there. We lost touch over the last few years and once again I find myself thinking of him only to learn of his passing. SO...here's to you 'Ran', I know your in peace now. Much love to you always. Love, -Kerri-

Randy was my 'Uncle Randy.' He was the same for my children. He was my dog's best friend. He was a smile, an infectious laugh, kind, loving, and always willing to help someone. He knew no strangers and has left is mark on many hearts. Peace be with you. Love, B, Dre, Punkerdoodle, Dean, Weezer, Bent

Randy was my dear friend for almost 40 years and my world was a happier place with him in it. He brought more joy and laughter into my life than any other single human being. and I loved him. To Fred, Tommy, Sally, Paul and all other family members, my deepest sorrow and sympathy. May you find comfort in this...and all passages that follow - of all the lives that were touched by Randys love and friendship. I also believe that although he is now gone... Randy truly out 'LIVED' us all. Rest in sweet, sweet peace my dear friend. I will never forget you.

I met Randy through my younger brother Richard in the 70's. We had some great times non of which is fit to print Oh yea, there was the Cloud Leather Softball Team! I had recently seen Randy at Richard's Christmas party after many years of having not, and he was still the same old happy go lucky, and kind person I knew when we were young. And though our paths didn't often cross, it was always a delight when they did.
