SAVANNAH - Sally Leona Clements, 89, of Savannah passed away on the morning of March 7 under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born in McCrae, Georgia on June 20, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Johnny R Clements, her mother, Doshie Rogers Bennett, her father, Dewey Bennett and her brother George Bennett.
She is survived by her two children Edward J Clements, of Savannah, and Joyce C Morris Vernon of Port Wentworth, her siblings Reuben Bennett, Alma Bennett and Madeline Carter, all of Savannah, her seven grandchildren, Samuel Clements Mary, Eric Morris, Edward Clements, Jr. Jamie, Lauree M San Juan, Nikki Clements, Kathleen C Clayboss Chris and Tonya M Gaddy James, her seven great-grandchildren, Travis Clements, Joey Clements, Leanna San Juan, Brittany Clayboss, Hannah San Juan, Natalie Gaddy and Haley Clayboss.
Visitation: Tuesday, March 9 from 6 to 8 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside service: Wednesday, March 10 at 11 am at Hillcrest Abbey West.
