GUEST BOOK

Just heard the sad news today of the death of our old friend. Jimmy and Carlette shared many great times with us during our time at Fort Pulaski 1983-88 and we had some good visits with Jimmy since then. Jimmy was always ready to help you out and make it fun. I remember 8 years ago or so when he sent me all over the mountains in western North Carolina checking out a pop-up camper which was for sale. And he eventually bought it and came over and pickled it up. We still have the Juke Box Jimmy sold us and helped get running. We had many great times listening to records on it. We will keep Jimmy and his family in out thoughts and prayers.

There are so many memories, where do you begin? I am thankful for the many years we had as partners and after that as greater friends. I told him many times how I was so lucky that he was my son's father. He will always have a piece of my heart! May God be with the family during these days to follow.

Our deepest condolences to Jimmy's family and loved ones. We shared numerous adventures with Jimmy for many years at Fort Pulaski, and can honestly say he was one of the kindest, most capable people I have ever known. Jimmy did so many things well, but perhaps the most remarkable was that he made others happy. He will be missed.
