Momma I miss you dearly, words will never tell just how I feel, and to know you are gone, And I must still carry on, I feel like you were handed a raw deal, You went through so much, Oh how it seemed so very vile, But you never complained, and now heaven you have gained, I see now that it was all worth while, Momma I miss and love you, and its hard now that you are gone, But I know you will wait, til its my turn at fate, And its you who will welcome me home. I am missing you badly, but I know with time it will get easier. I love you Mama always and forever. Love, Your Daughter

A rose once grew where all could see, sheltered beside a garden wall,And as the days passed swiftly by,it spread its branches, straight and tall..One day,a beam of light shone through a crevice-that had opened wide~The rose bent gently toward its warmth then passed beyond to the other side...Now you who deeply feel its loss, be comforted~the rose blooms there~The beauty even greater now, nurtured by God's own loving care.

Sister, we've been there through life's sorrow and pain. But together we have always endured the strain. We've argued and bickered and mad each other mad.But if you weren't my sister, life would be so sad. We've cried till we laughed and laughed till we cried;sometimes for no reason we didn't even know why. When we're not together our bond is just as strong. Because we are sisters; we know when something is wrong we've whispered our deepest secrets only sisters could share. I love my sister dearly because she really cares..So whether we are together or we are far apart, your my sister, my friend and forever in my heart. I Love You Pat Always And Forever You'll In My Heart. Sweet Dreams. No more pain and no more suffering. I LOVE YOU SIS

- Nancy Scott, Brooklet, GA

Mama where do I start. You meant everything to me. You have taught me so much in this life, but the most important is to love and to always help others. I wish so badly you were still here and healthy again. But I know nomatter what I wish that Gods plan is greater. You made such a difference in so many peoples lives. And I promise to follow in your foot steps. You are an inspiration to me. The strength and courage you showed was amazing. Even though you are in heaven now you will always live in my heart and mind and in many others that you have touched in this life. I love you and miss you so much, but I know that you will never hurt again. You have had some tough times in this life and I know the Lord felt it was time for you to rest and have peace and thats why he called his Angel home. I love you Mama always. Love, Your Daughter

- Janice Whitsell, Bloomingdale, GA

My dearst sister;how can I begin to tell just how much I treasure you as my 'BIG SISTER'. I know we have had good times as well as bad. But both are precious memories to me. We've talk about how wonderful it was to grow up in such a big family and to have all the love to share with our siblings..Ray the strength of the family;Bubba the soft and tender one;Emmett the wild and crazy life of the party; Dale the serious minded and conscious one;Jerri the laid back not in a hurry for anyone;Laura the dependable kudzu always there to see you through. But Pat you were there for all of us also, to lend a helping hand to listen and give advise and to be just a sister and a friend. I treasure you as a sister but more as a friend. You filled my life with joy and I love you for it. These past 9 months I watch you fight a battle you could not win, but you never complained. You showed strength I've never seen before. You worried more about your family and how they would handle it than about yourself and the battle you were fighting. I could not help you with this battle but I promise I will be there for Janice & Joseph and your precious grand babies. I Love You Pat and will miss you so much. God Bless You..Sweet Dreams no more pain and no more suffering. We will be together again my sister. I LOVE YOU!!

- Nancy Scott, Brooklet, GA

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say... but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said, 'I welcome you.' It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. I need you here badly; you're part of my plan. There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man. God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight. God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er. I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; but together we can do it by taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too... that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain, then you can say to God at night......'My day was not in vain.' And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile, knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile. So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low, just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go. When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free, remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
