Elsie G. Knight, 87, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Savannah.

Mrs. Knight was born in San Raphael, CA on August 1, 1922, the daughter of the late Richard Carl and Mathilda Hackenmuller Schroeter.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bertram Allan Knight and their infant daughter, Elaine Knight. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ewbank and husband William of Savannah; grandchildren, Clint Hammond, Dustin Hammond, Ryan Hammond, Lauren Anthony, Sydney Hammond, Kyle Ewbank, Madison Ewbank and Seth Ewbank; great-grandchildren, Katherine Hammond, Kaleigh Hammond and Alex Anthony; niece, Helen Costello and nephew, Richard Schroeter.

Funeral services will be private.
