Tybee Island- James L. Smith, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Hospice Savannah.
He was a native of Richmond, Indiana. For many years, he lived in the Jacksonville area where he owned Duval Dental Lab. He moved to Tybee Island six years ago to be closer to his family. His daughter, Cindy Pyne and sister, Beulah, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Smith; children, Timmy and his wife Pam, Sherri, David, Tommy; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and sister, Alta Parrish.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
