Celebrating the life of
Harold Martin Bailey, Sr.
August 24, 1925 - March 17, 2010
I am so sorry to hear about Col. Bailey. I just found out this morning after returning from vacation. He was a frequent visitor at the lottery office. I used to be in the military so he and I would talk about military stuff. I enjoyed our conversations. I don't think he came to the lottery office for the tickets as much as he did for the conversation. From time to time he would bring Dax with him. We enjoyed her too. My hearts go out to the family.

Bill, Stephanie and the Bailey family, We are so very sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Mr. Bailey will be remembered and missed. We'll never forget how he welcomed us into his home and made us feel like family from the very first time we met and the big hug he gave whenever we visited. We're very thankful he was a part of our lives.

Steph, we are go very sorry for your loss. Although I never met Mr. Bailey I have heard nothing but wonderful things about him. It is a hard road to walk but we all know he is no longer suffering, and he is with the Lord. In a very short time I believe we are all going to be with the Lord, and all of the ones we loved and that were so dear to us here on earth. Like the Song says,' This is our temporary home.' Heaven is our real home. May God bless and keep you all during this very difficult time. Love you with all our hearts, Aunt Lois and Jack

I am very sorry to hear of Harold's passing. During the past few years I became a friend of Harold while supervising restoration projects at his residence. It was at the kitchen table, with his loyal dog by his side, we had some very interesting and uplifting discussions on life and family. Harold loved his family and has now gone home to be with our Lord and his beloved Wife. My prayers and sympathy are with the entire Bailey family.
