GUEST BOOK

Dear Family: I had the pleasure of knowing Florence when she was a docent at The Davenport House. I was serving, briefly, as Director. She was so kind, supportive, and fun and we had a great group of passionate people who loved that house! She, like so many of us, cared deeply for the part the house played in the early stages of preservation in Savannah. She gave so much of herself to our city and we are blessed by her volunteerism and her passion for its history. Please know you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. In friendship and sympathy, Helen Marshall

Florence was a very sweet lady. When she would come through the door to exercise class she was smiling and would call each of us by name. She was a 'Blessing' and we will miss her. So sorry for your loss. Carolyn Drake

Florence's energy and vitality inspired us all in our exercise classes at the Y. I knew that she was a special lady from the first time I met her. Her warm and winning smile will remain with me always. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry that Florence lost her valiant battle and that you lost a beloved wife and mother. I only knew Florence a short time, as I was in her 'Y' exercise class. She was a delightful lady who was so full of energy and always friendly to newcomers like myself. We all miss her terribly. May you find peace in knowing she earned her place in heaven by being the selfless lovely person that she was. God Bless You and all the family.
