Dear David, Dottie, Donna and Ian. I cant put into words the pain I feel in my heart. I allways new that Dusty had faith, but never new to what extent. I believe he has touched so many people that he has changed the lives of many and will change many more in the years to come. I wish there was a way I could take this sadness and pain away from all of us, But I can't and it hurts me to my soul. I will be there for all of you. If I am at home call. If I am Away call. If I am with you hold me. I love you all so much and pray nightly for you. May Dusty watch over us all and protect us. I will so miss Dinner at my house and Dusty's loving kiss and hug goodbye. I Love you Uncle Dean. My heart is broken.
- Uncle Dean, Richmond Hill, GA
I do not know you all personally, but I feel the compelling hand of God telling me to lend you words of comfort at your time of mourning- I lost my little brother a year and a half ago, and it ripped me and my family up inside. I cannot honestly tell you that everything will be back to normal, but I will tell you that with God's help, you will be able to make it through the days to come. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
- Amy, Savannah, GA
Our thoughts and prayers have been with you this entire week. We can't understand the loss your hearts have felt, but we know a Savior who does,Who has been, and Who will continue to be there for your family. We know that you sorrow, but you sorrow with a hope knowing God has a plan greater than any understanding or comprehension we might have. We hope you remember and draw peace from the special 'Kodak Moments' God blessed your family to create with Dustin over 18 years. God truly did bless you with a son and brother that brought great joy and love into your family and His community. Those memories and the blessed hope we have in Christ can sustain you in the coming days. His life and testimony will continue to reach others for Christ. Our Darby loves your family deeply and through her we felt we almost knew Dustin ourselves. It is so evident that God blessed you to raise Dustin in His ways and the deep outpouring of love and thoughts regarding a 'gentle giant' show He lived out His Christian walk and preached out his celebration well. We pray that God's love and strength will abound as He shelters you under His wings in the coming days.
- Sammy, Gina, Kyle & Darby Chancey, Brunswick, GA

Why do bad things happen to good people? It is so God might be glorified through our lion's den experiences. I don't know how He is going to do it, but whenever God asks one of His people to go through difficult times, it is always for the purpose of glorifying Himself, not only in the experience, but in response to that experience.' From Handwriting on the Wall/David Jeremiah. May we glorify God knowing that he has a purpose in all the trials and tribulations that we go through. I know that we can't see it now but there is a reason that Dusty left us so soon. We must be patient to see what God has in store for us no matter how difficult it is. Rest in Peace my friend and know that you have touched so many lives beyond what we can comprehend here on earth. We shall see you when we reach the pearly gates, don't have too much fun without us. Dear Dottie, Dave, Ian and Donna: There are no words available to express the grief and heartache that you must be feeling right now. As parents of three children at Calvary, our entire family grieves and mourns with you over the loss of your precious son, Dustin. But, please remember, you will see Dustin again. This was promised to us as Christians in 1 Thessalonians 4: “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
- Stephen, Michelle, John, Cece & Mary Rahal, Savannah, GA

When I think of Dustin, I think of a big, sweet teddy bear! Dustin's smile always brightens my day. I can still see him now. Philipians 4 is the most amazing scripture. I use it when I talk with my students about Dustin. Philipians 4:9 'Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.' That sounds just like a message from Dustin to us. God be with you. Love, Ann

Our hearts, love and prayers go out to Dustin's parents, family and friends. This young man knew that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior! Dustin took our son, Alex, under his wing when he arrived at Calvary this year. He lifted weights with him, prayed with him, studied God's word with him, ate breakfast with him every Wednesday morning, and led FCA with him every Thursday morning. Dustin was an instrument God used to bring Alex closer to Him. We will be forever grateful for the kindness, love and faith he showed our son. Dustin you are one of kind and we know you and Alex will resume your friendship in heaven some day! For now, we have to take comfort in knowing that we were so blessed to have you in our lives. We love you Dustin! We will miss your teddy bear hugs! You will be in our hearts forever.
- Brenda & Steve Reid, Rincon, GA

I and my family give our condolences your family. I know that words cannot take away the grief of losing Dustin, but I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed his company during middle school football, and talking with him about the Red Sox. One could not have asked for a better friend or a better leader, and he has and always will be someone I look up to. He will live on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends forever.
- Mike Fasano & Family, Savannah, GA
Our deepest sympathy to Dustin's family and friends. We were not privileged to know Dustin, but in learning what a wonderful Christian young man he was shows how even a young life can set Godly examples for others. May God be very close to you during the days ahead.

When I first arrived at the school yesterday I was deeply saddened by the loss of Dustin. As I stood in the church watching all the people who had come so quickly to comfort your family, I was filled with joy. It only confirmed what I already knew. The entire Dauphinee family has been a blessing to so many people. I only hope that my family can one day know the feeling of having touched so many lives with such joy, spirit and love as yours have done for countless others. Your entire family is a true testament of Christian love. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love Always, Brigette Aaron

Dottie and David, Donna and Ian, We are so sorry. It is impossible for us as humans to understand why God takes from us those that we love so dearly but surely when we get to heaven He will reveal it to us. May the fact that Dustin was saved give you great peace in the meantime. We wish there was some way we could take your pain away.
- Judy and Aulmon Giles, Savannah, GA
Dave, Dottie and family, I offer my utmost sympathies to you. I cannot be there but you are all in my heart and prayers. Be strong...
- Bill Harvey, Ephrata, PA
Dottie and family. I don't know what to say. I can share with you something Father O'Brian shared recently. I was at my son's friend's funeral a few weeks ago. He said to the boy's parents at mass if you knew the day your son was born that he would return to God on this day, would you forego all the blessed, gifts and memories you have shared with your son these past years. This by no means takes the pain away but I thought it was a wonderful way to try to put into words the greatest gift we receive from God - our children. Will be holding you and your family close to my heart.
- Pam Cullum, Savannah, GA
Donna. I am so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your brother today. Though I didn't know him I heard you speak of him many times and know how special he was to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

It is with great sadness that I have learned of this terrible news. Dustin demonstrated great character and was obviously reared by loving parents. Dustin was part of our recreational sports teams at the Y and the boys club. He will be sorely missed. God Bless you during this difficult time.
- Robert Fritts, Savannah, GA
Words cannot even express how our hearts ache for your loss. Even though Dustin was much older than Alex, he truly made an impact on him. Alex shared some of his Dustin stories with us this afternoon - memories of football camp, workouts, and FCA. That is a wonderful legacy to leave - the positive impact on so many lives. You are in our prayers. Marcia, Tim and Alex

Dottie and Family, i cannot even begin to imagine the pain you are feeling. What a precious boy. The 'gentle giant' I have heard many say. He will be remembered for so many wonderful accomplishments. Most mornings he would pass us on the parkway and Elizabeth would say 'there goes Dustin' I know that God is holding him in his arms and the many memories he has made in his short life will sustain you.You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Cynthia and Elizabeth Swords
- cynthia swords, savannah, GA

Love, Ann

To the Dauphinee family: I am praying for you guys as you go through this very difficult time. I met Dustin at the Southside Jaugars we played on the line together and we went to school together at Calvary for two years. I was very sad to hear of his death. You did a great job raising Dustin and teaching him the right way. I am praying for all of you that God will protect you, comfort you and strengthen you.

- Chris Mooney, Savannah, GA
