GUEST BOOK

I just found out Johhny had passed away. The minute I read it I was sad. Johnny was the best of the best. He did not always do what one one expect. But he would always do without hesitation. A very special person in my life. I miss you Johnny.

My thoughts and prayers will continue as all of you go through this sad time. Some of my best memories ever were those spent with 'The Clarks' Johnny, Sandra , Angela & Mandy and at that time the dog 'Frank'. Other than just the babysitter I always felt more like part of the family. Lots of memories at the River House from jumping off the high dock, boating, sking, fishing , Johnny having to rescue me & Sandra from running the Sailboat into the dock, letting Angela drive my VW Bug when she probably wasn't even ten years old in the woods, Mandy breaking her toewe won't go therebut the list goes on & on! Johnny was like another father to me giving me advice as a teenager and helping me get my first car financed the VW Bug! I am only allowed so many characters here and there is surely not enough! He was such a great person and I will always have a special place in my heart for him! Love you all, Candy

Johnny was a very special friend - I met him at the farm and followed him to Wilmington Island with my broom and mop - He was my most special client in my cleaning business - The one who would have me a cup of coffee wating when I arrived - The stories he told me over the 10 years I worked for him were amazing - But it was his girls he cared about most deeply - He was a wonderful man - and will certinly be missed by so many - Please know that his family is in my thougths and prayers -

- Jan Shuman, Claxton, GA

So sorry for your loss. He was one of my oldest and lifelong friends. He was my Mother's favorite.

Where does one start? Mr. Johnny was family to me; he was like a grandfather to me. I knew if I ever needed anything, I could always count on Mr. Johnny, whether it be to hear a good old story from back in the day or if I needed some life advice; He was always there. Mr. Johnny sometimes would call and say, “Danuuelle, how is school going?” It was always nice to know that someone was thinking of me and also interested in hearing about my schooling. He would always know how to brighten someone’s day, whether it be telling a story, or making a joke with that great laugh of his. Mr. Johnny will truly be missed, and I will never forget the memories we shared. Johnny, I will really miss you! Danielle Allbritton

The loss of Mr Clark will be strongly felt for a very long time. You just knew when Johnny was in the house. He brought so much energy with him he could turn a quite gathering into a party just by showing up. He was warm and loving to us all. It breaks my heart that we will no longer hear his very distinctive voice and laugh. He was a great host and a welcomed guest. He loved to dance and I'll always remember the gang jumping out of the van in Daytona during speed week and dancing in the parking lot because a good song was playing on the radio and how the people in the hotel balcony's would cheer us on because they knew we were having fun turning a trying traffic situation into a good time.He made even the worse dancer feel like Ginger Rogers.I know this because I was the worse dancer.lol. I hope heaven is ready for Johnny....In the words of Winston Churchill..'.I am prepared to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.'

Were do I begin? You will really be missed by all. There are so many good times it would take forever to list all of them. Johnny was like a 2nd Dad to me. It was not uncommon for him to set me straight. We really had a lot of fun together, of course some was bad as well, but most was great fun. My best times with Johnny where on some of our fishing trips....in the Bahamas, Walkers, Chub Cay, Cat Cay and Bimini. When we were there, everyone knew we were there. And when we left, everyone knew we were gone. Our last trip together was to Alaska. On that trip I got to set him straight for a change. :, but all was good. Johnny, I will really miss you. Danny A.
