Patricia Finney Hawk

Patricia Finney Hawk, 80, died April 24, 2010 at Memorial University Medical Center. She was born in Rome, New York, daughter of the late George and Pauline Klinefelter Finney. She was a graduate of Otterbein College receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and taught school for many years. She was a member of Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and member of the preschool board. Mrs. Hawk achieved life master bridge player status and also served as president of her bridge club. Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed life to the fullest and had absolutely no regrets. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Hawk and daughter, Cynthia Sue Hawk.

Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Thomaswick and Bethany Hawk; grandchildren, Stephanie Salter, Bridget and Spencer Maney.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church with Reverend Andy Meeker officiating.
