Dear Connie: I was a classmate of Jack's at LaSalle High. My sympathies and prayers to you as you learn to live without the physical presence of Jack in your life. My fondest memories of Jack are our Saturday and Sunday morning discussions over politics and business, children and families, all the time trying to avoid losing our $1.00 Naussau. Jack was a wonderful friend and golf partner for over 25 years...Kathy and I will miss him. We look forward to seeing you when you visit Cleveland and when we head south. To our dear Connie, Kathleen, Mike and Aimee...You all know that Jack was one of our closest friends and we and our children enjoyed so many years together on so many adventures whether it be golf, tennis, ore boat trips, Florida and the Landings, Penn State football, parties for no reason, Holden Arboretum events, Christmas Eves and especially those 25+ consecutive Thanksgivings together that Jack so thoughtfully commemorated with the famous silver bowl or just live it up nites on Fridays! Most of all we remember John Loftus as a kind, and loyal friend with the great sense of humor of a true Irishman who never turned down a good scotch. We will sorely miss this guy. Love to you all Stu and Penny Theis
