I will never forget the summers at diabetic camp, the first memory being at Camp Rock Eagle in 1985 when you liked a little boy named Chad Bell and y'all had me run back and forth between cabins to deliver love letters. I fell in a watermeter hole behind his cabin and you and the girls had to pull me up through a window that was a foot higher than I was tall. We devised a plan to tell the counselor and nurse that I slipped and fell on a bar of soap in the shower so we wouldn't get into trouble. AND WE PULLED IT OFF!! I had to have fluid drawn off that knee and to this day it still bothers me, but I rub it and smile and think of you. The next year we went to Camp Barney Mendez and the havoc continued on with Teresa Sears and Landon Bates and countless others. Our favorit counselor was Jaqui Gazi cause she let us sneak out though she knew the truth. I sprained my ankle in 86 and 87 because I was accident prone and I had a HUGE boombox that we would carry around all over camp and scream at the boys. Boy, I wish you were here now so we could reminence but I know I will see you in heaven one day, and we can run around heaven smiling and laughing again. I LOVE YOU, GIRL!!!

Amy, It's been one year since you've moved on to a better place. I would be lying if i said i am healing. You were my rock, you were everything a man looks for in a companion. Your beauty and grace always took my breath away, your character and spirit inspired me. I often talk to you, asking for guidance and courage to move on. I miss your gentle touch, it always eased my problems and filled my heart with love. I could go on forever.... for anyone who knew Amy was blessed and those who didnt truley missed out on an amazing and beautiful person both inside and out. I miss you lovie and i always will. All my love forever, Erik

Ed, Frances and Family: My heart is grieving for each of you today. But maybe this will help you as I was thinking back on April. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...but first of all that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said,' I welcome you'. Do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'ver. I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before. When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
