Myra Elizabeth Bolin

SAVANNAH - Myra Elizabeth Bolin, 82, died Monday, May 31, 2010 at Azalealand Nursing Home after an extended illness.
She was born in Chesterfield County, SC, grew up in Savannah, and graduated from Savannah High School. She received an Associate of Business Administration Degree from Georgia State College for Women. Myra competed in the 1948 Miss Savannah Beauty Pageant, and was an accomplished pianist.
She retired as Administrative Assistant to the manager of Union Camp, Container Division, where she was employed for forty years.
Myra was a life long member of Independent Presbyterian Church.
Ms. Bolin is survived by her brother, Dr. Edgar Lee Bolin and sister-in-law, Bonnie T. Bolin, of Fayette County, GA; a niece, Andrea B. Ferrara, of Raleigh, NC, and two great-nieces, Colby F. Black and Anjelica Ferrara, of Jacksonville, FL.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, Rev. Ron Parrish, Independent Presbyterian Church, will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Independent Presbyterian Church, 207 Bull St., Savannah, GA 31401.
