DENVER, CO – Louise Choisnet, age 86, died Friday, May 14, 2010. The Idaho Springs, CO native was a graduate of Idaho Springs High School.
She lived in Bay Shore, NY for many years before moving to Savannah when her husband came to Savannah with Grumman Aerospace. She worked for many years at Levy's Department Store in downtown Savannah and volunteered for several years at the Ronald McDonald House. She loved animals. Upon the death of her husband of 55 years, Frederick E. Choisnet., she moved to Denver, CO.
She was also preceded in death by her sister Katherine Hunt and her brother John Babish.
Surviving are two daughters, Jheri Galbreath and her husband, Jimmy, of Savannah, and Antoinette Rizzuto of Lakewood, CO; a son, Fred E. Choisnet, Jr. of Savannah; five grandchildren, Dean, Annette, Renee, Brianna, and Jared; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Babish; and a sister Jenny Letzo.
A Christian Burial Service will be held at the graveside at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 12, 2010, in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery with The Rev. Msgr. Francis J. Nelson officiating.
The family suggests any remembrances be made to the Savannah Humane Society, 7215 Sally Mood Dr., Savannah, GA 31406.
