GUEST BOOK

Dear James and Family, It has been such a long time since our paths have crossed, but I will always fondly remember when you and Eamon were little boys. Your Mom and Dad were such good, kind people. I will hold these memories as a keepsake in my heart. There are no words to ease your pain. May God shower you and yours with his blessings, and peace to come to your broken heart in the time ahead.

- Carolyn Sheehan, Tybee Island, GA

I did not know James Lucas. But I know Melanie and I know how she felt about him. My deepest sympathies go out to her. And to all family members and friends.

- Sam Remley, Marietta, GA

Sylvia and Tonya, I am very sorry to hear about Jimmy passing away. He was a very nice person to take care of, and he will be missed. You and your family are in my thoughts. Sincerely, Jamie

- Jamie Stulpin, Savannah, GA

Jimmy had this way of making you feel welcome and calm no matter the circumstance. Probably the most laid back person I have ever met. He was always kind, never complained, and always had something to pick on you about. I will miss him dearly. The Logroller

- Jessica Holder, Savannah, GA

I cannot begin to tell all of you how sorry I am for your loss. I didn't know Jimmy very long but I am blessed to have known him for the time I did. May God help y'all through this time of grief. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

- Frances Abrams, Savannah, GA

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Lucas family in their time of grief. May God bless you all.

- Anna Tompkins, Savannah, GA

I want to express my sorrow to the entire Lucas family in the passing of Jimmy. I remember when Jimmy and Faye first bought their Tybee Island home. It brings back many memories. I always had a special kinship with Jimmy and his wife Faye. Besides being a great brother-in-law, both Faye and I shared the same birth date. I only now regret that I did not stop by and speak to him on my many trips to the beach. Jimmy was always one with a quick wit as do his brothers. I think that trait came from both CC and Hulda! Jimmy probably has them laughing like crazy in Heaven as we speak. Jimmy...we are better people having known you.. ...you will be missed.

- Buddy Claborn, Savannah, GA

Jimmy is one of the greatest men I have ever had the chance to meet. He was a wonderful father and an even better Papa...He is greatly missed.

- Sabrina Lucas, Tybee, GA

Jimmy was like a brother to me and like a father to my kids. He was a wonderful person. He will live on in our hearts and minds. He will surely be missed. Long live 'Pine trees'and 'the house of the rising sun.' He has gone on to be with my sister Faye in heaven. chris
