To Tim and Family, it is so sad to learn of your father's passing. It is evident he was a great father because he raised a great friend. I pray our Lord and Savior will sustain you during your time of grief. Sincerely, Pam

Dear Lynn, Tim, Tommy & Mike, And Familes: I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Herbert's death, just know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you, as you all know He was one of my most favorite uncle's. Sometimes extended families are closer than your real family members and he was always there for me whenever I needed him in the past years. He was such a wonderful listener and always wanted to give you his best advice as to what was best for you. I know that you all will surely miss him, but just know that GOD wanted him to come home and be with Peggy and Sheftall. Hope all of you are well and my deepest sympathy goes out to EACH of you and your families. God Bless and take care. Brenda

I still remember the first time I met Herbert. I knew he was like a 'Daddy' to Denny and it didn't take but a second to realize why Denny respected and loved him so. I became one of the members of the Herbert Fan Club that very moment. He was so full of wit & wisdom and we never left from visiting with him when you weren't smiling and laughing. I won't ever worry about plowing crooked rows in the garden because Herbert told me 'you get more plants in a crooked row than you do a straight one!'...and, our potatoes will always be planted with eyes up so they can see where they're going. It won't be the same without him but he will be in our hearts forever. Herbert, we love you and you will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Lynn and the rest of the family.
