Jack was a true Southern gentleman. We got to know Jack when we returned to Tybee three years ago. We first met him at All Saints' Episcopal Church on Tybee. He always had a warm and loving smile for us on Sunday mornings. We also got to know him better at various social gatherings. We found out that he was a good bridge player and how much he loved and missed his wife, Colleen. Jack will be so missed. However, we know that he is now happier and has what he wanted...to be with his wife Colleen again and to be with God our Father. Love, peace and happiness, Mandy, Michael and 'the Mitsy'

We will miss Jack so much at All Saints. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cantrell, Macguire, Dismukes and Salter family. Ashley, Rob, Helen and Julia O'Brien

I knew Jack from two places where they served coffee in Wilmington Island. He always spoke to me and was kind.

Love you Uncle Jack! Now you and Colleen are together again! We wish we could come down with Kay, but she is not able to make the trip with her healing leg.

I've known Jack since I was ten. To him, I was always 'Sonny'. We grew up together, went to college together, were best man at each others weddings. Jack will always be the best and closest friend I ever had. He was gracious, honest, thoughtful and I loved him as my brother.
